Financial transparency

The Bothoor Alkhayr Relief and Development Organization applies a financial system based on an integrated set of financial regulations and policies consistent with the best local and international standards and in accordance with the best practices applied in non-profit, non-governmental organizations and using the latest electronic systems and accounting programs.

Administration

We work in the Bothoor Alkhayr Organization with a modern and reliable administrative system through a group of interconnected departments, divisions and branches. This system ensures transparency in work and speed of completion by imposing strict control over the course of procedures.

We select employees in our organization according to standards of competence and commitment to the lofty values that the organization carries in its mission and seeks. It also opens the door to volunteer work to serve orphans. Workers and volunteers alike are subject to supervision to ensure that their behavior is consistent with the mission of the Seeds of Goodness Organization for Relief and Development.

We work to participate in various community activities, such as social activities and communication with university students and institutions with common goals, to enhance community and volunteer roles.

Financial system:

Bothoor Alkhayr Organization for Relief and Development applies a financial system based on an integrated set of financial regulations and policies that are consistent with the best local and international standards, and in accordance with the best practices applied in non-profit, non-governmental organizations, and using the latest electronic systems and accounting programs with the aim of achieving the vision and strategy of Seeds Al Khair for Relief and Development and achieving... Its objectives and the performance of its mission are in accordance with a system of values and a set of principles. This system has been developed based on the policies adopted and decided by the Association’s Board of Directors, and in line with the legislative regulations for charitable societies, generally accepted accounting principles and international standards for preparing IFRS reports. The Bothoor Alkhayr Relief and Development Organization is also keen to To continuously develop its financial system in a way that achieves transparency, disclosure and accuracy and leads to controlling financial performance and ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness. Accounting Policy: There are many accounting policies applied by Bothoor Alkhayr, which are based on international accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles. We summarize the most important of these policies as follows:  

1. General accounting policies: Applying the accrual basis, which achieves the principle of independence of financial periods. Apply the historical cost principle when preparing financial statements. Accounting policies related to real estate and gifts. Accounting policies related to property, equipment and machinery. Accounting policies related to revenue recognition. Accounting policies related to provisions. Accounting policies related to employee benefits. Accounting policies related to financial risk management. Accounting policies related to transactions in foreign currencies. Accounting policies related to financial instruments

2.Accounting policies related to revenues: Cash donations are recognized when they are received. Non-cash donations are recognized on a regular basis during their useful life. Contributions and deposits are recognized when cash is received. Rents are recognized on an accrual basis. Revenue from the sale of investments, property and equipment is recognized when ownership passes to the buyer

3. Accounting policies related to expenses. Project and activity expenses are recognized when they are paid. Expenses transferred to offices and representations outside Bothoor Alkhayr are recognized when the amounts are actually paid abroad and not when transferred from the main center in Bothoor Alkhayr. Disbursement must be in accordance with approved budgets. Disbursement must be in accordance with the financial policies, regulations and procedures approved by the Board of Directors. Bothoor Alkhayr always aims to enhance compliance in general with all local and international laws and legislation, agreements and standards in the field of charitable and humanitarian work. Bothoor Alkhayr also emphasizes compliance in particular with the requirements of combating money laundering and terrorist financing operations and assessing their risks and their potential impact on their financial capacity, as they conduct it periodically and regularly Whenever necessary, it reviews and updates its policy and procedures related to this matter, in order to ensure compliance with international standards issued by the working group and international best practices, in addition to the legislation and laws related to that.

Bothoor Alkhayr has implemented a set of internal control and audit systems in accordance with international standards issued by international bodies and organizations to keep pace with the best systems, with the aim of achieving its goals and controlling the risks it faces and to ensure its efficient and effective management of funds. Therefore, it has implemented a set of important measures to achieve an effective control environment, and has also been activated.
